Head of Toxodera denticulata Audinet-Serville, 1837 in frontal view, focus-stacked photograph

Who is it for?

What you get

Focus-stacked images

Several shots merged into one, so the whole specimen is in focus, even under strong magnification.

Standard views

Dorsal, ventral and lateral habitus, head in frontal view and the diagnostic details you need, on a clean, neutral background, with scale when required.

Figure plates

If you wish, the images composed into plates ready for a journal, labelled A, B, C, following its guidelines.

High-resolution files

Delivered digitally, edited with care and without altering the morphology of the specimen.

How it works

  1. You tell me which specimens, which views and what the images are for.
  2. You send me the specimens, well packed (shipping is arranged by email), or we agree on another way to photograph them.
  3. I photograph them in the lab and prepare the images or plates.
  4. You receive the files, and the specimens back, carefully packed.
